Pushpa TMX 550D

Pushpa TMX 550 and TMX 550D bars are designed with precision and excellence to meet the rigorous demands of modern construction. The chemical composition of these bars ensures enhanced structural integrity and long-lasting performance. TMX 550 bars contain a carbon range of 0.25% to 0.30%, while TMX 550D bars offer a reduced carbon content of 0.23%, contributing to better weldability and lower brittleness. Both variants maintain minimized levels of sulphur and phosphorus, which are known to adversely affect the steel’s durability. This results in significantly improved corrosion resistance, making them ideal for infrastructure exposed to harsh environments, moisture, or coastal conditions. In terms of physical properties, Pushpa TMX 550 bars offer an impressive yield stress of 575 N/mm², while TMX 550D bars elevate the standard further with a tensile strength reaching up to 670 N/mm².
In terms of chemical composition, TMX 550D bars contain a lower carbon content of 0.23% compared to 0.25%–0.30% in TMX 550 bars. With minimized levels of sulphur and phosphorus, these bars offer superior corrosion resistance and increased longevity. When it comes to physical properties, Pushpa TMX 550 bars deliver a yield stress of 575 N/mm², exceeding BIS standards, while TMX 550D bars boast a tensile strength of 670 N/mm². Both variants exhibit excellent elongation, offering outstanding flexibility and resilience—ideal for earthquake-prone regions and heavy-load environments.
Available in a variety of sizes from 8mm to 32mm, these bars are manufactured to meet BIS specifications.
